IU signee Bryson Tucker is a consensus top 30 player in final 2024 recruiting rankings
Bryson Tucker, who committed to Indiana in March and signed a national letter of intent with the Hoosiers in April, is officially a consensus top 30 player in the final class of 2024 rankings.
The 6-foot-6 wing from Bishop O’Connell (Md.) was a 2024 McDonald’s All-American and an honorable mention selection for the 2024 Naismith Trophy High School All-America team.
All four major national recruiting services have released their final rankings for the class of 2024 and Tucker is in the top 30 of each.
The latest rankings to be released – 247Sports – have Tucker at No. 28 and a four-star prospect.
Tucker’s highest ranking comes from On3.com, which has him No. 12 in the country and a five-star prospect.
ESPN.com ranks Tucker No. 20 in the senior class but the World Wide Leader only gave a five-star distinction to its top 17 players in the class.
Finally, Rivals.com also ranks Tucker at No. 20 in the 2024 class as a five-star prospect.
Here’s what Indiana coach Mike Woodson said about Tucker last month after he signed his letter of intent with the Hoosiers.
“Bryson has a chance to be impactful for our ballclub right away,” Woodson said in a release. “He has a polished offensive game with the size and strength to get to his spots on the floor. His midrange game is very impressive, and he has the athleticism to get to and score efficiently at the rim. He is a talented young man that we cannot wait to work with when he gets to campus.”
