Washington State guard Myles Rice, one of the top available guards in the transfer portal, is reportedly planning to visit Indiana this weekend.

Jeff Rabjohns of Peegs.com reported the news of Rice’s visit to Indiana, but did not specify a date.

Earlier Thursday, it was reported that Rice would not take a visit to Auburn, which was considered to be one of the schools he was considering.

The Pac-12 freshman of the year last season, Rice averaged 14.8 points, 3.8 assists, 3.1 rebounds and 1.6 steals per game last season for the Cougars.

In 33.2 minutes per game, he shot 43.9 percent from the field, 27.5 percent on 3s, and 81.1 percent from the free-throw line.

Rice was named first-team All-Pac 12 and scored in double figures 27 times in his lone season in Pullman. He also won Pac-12 freshman of the week seven times.

It’s expected to be a busy weekend in Bloomington for visitors as Bradley’s Connor Hickman and Minnesota’s Pharrel Payne are scheduled to be on campus. Arizona transfer Oumar Ballo is scheduled to visit beginning Sunday.
